Based in the UK, R&B collective Lovescene has taken the UK music scene by storm. Fronted by producer and song-writer Pops Roberts alongside Adisa Allen, Alex Hill, Ben Price, Jack Duckham and Ruben Milner-Edwards.

With influences ranging from the retro-soul sounds of Sade, Stevie Wonder and Prince to their modern contemporaries in UK broken beat, jazz and neo-soul. Lovescene's sound blends dance-floor energy, soulful harmonies and a cinematic atmosphere that gave rise to the band's name.

"Irresistibly rich mix of velvet R&B, groove-laden soul and driving floor filler"
Band On The Wall

"Deeply evocative soaring over smokey background scores. Low-slung R&B soaked in jazz, hip-hop & downtempo inflections"
Manchester's Finest

MUSIC

After a handful of singles and EP releases since their conception in 2019, the band released their debut self-titled album in April 2022 - an 8-track celebration of love, heartbreak and self-fulfilment.

The album featured rapper Blind Mic, the legendary gospel artist Yvonne Shelton, with New Orleans cellist Gary Washington and strings by Harry Fausing-Smith (Tom Misch).

Chased with a series of remixes by Ruf Dug, Finn, and Lenzman.

Lovescene have also collaborated and released with various artists such as FINN (2BReal), Lenzman (The North Quarter), Fox and Swing Ting.

In 2022, “Make This Right” - a collaboration with Ruf Dug on Wolf Music - was championed by names such as the late Virgil Abloh, and nominated for ‘Best Single of the Year’ at the Worldwide FM Awards in 2022.
